Broag boiler accommodated at University of Liverpool
Fourteen Broag Avanta 24S boilers and one Broag Quinta boiler have been installed at University of Liverpool student accommodation. The student flats at Tudor Close were fitted with the high efficiency boilers, replacing existing older boilers, during renovations of the twenty year-old residences.
The new Remeha Avanta range of system boilers makes use of the latest domestic boiler technology to create one of the most compact boilers available on the market. The Avanta boiler range consists of high efficiency domestic system boilers with ultra low Nox emission, which are in a class of their own. They are the lightest boilers in their class, weighing in at under 18 kilograms. They are the smallest with dimensions of 600mm x 400mm x 300mm, and have the highest flow rate in their class.
The hot water outputs from 6 to 39 kilowatts with 16 litres of hot water per minute, making the Avanta boilers ideal for the busy student accommodation. The flats were finished in October last year. Dave Roberts, in the University’s in-house Facilities Management Department, commented that they used Broag boilers because they “are one of their preferred suppliers, and are happy with Broag products as they are easy to maintain and there is no problems obtaining parts and getting servicing done quickly”.
Broag UK, a subsidiary of Remeha boilers, is one of the top five manufacturers in the European commercial and domestic heating market. They have more than thirty five years experience in the development and production of condensing boilers in Europe and are known as the market leader in condensing boiler technology, quality and reliability.
