Remeha Avanta Boilers installed at the University of East Anglia

Students living in a number of student residences on the University of East Anglia's impressive campus are destined to live and study in greater comfort, thanks to the installation of Remeha Avanta 28c Combi boilers. The University's original striking architecture, with the step pyramid shape of its iconic  ‘ziggurats', was designed by Sir Denis Lasdun (designer of the National Theatre).  The modern self-catering residences are all within a short walk of the centre of the campus, located approximately 3 miles from the City Centre.

Anglia Heating Ltd of Drayton, Norwich, successfully tendered to replace a total of 120 of the existing boilers with Avanta Range Combis. For the past eighteen months the company's engineers, led by Tim Wildman, have been carrying out the first phase of work as part of a rolling programme of boiler replacement in the student accommodation. Barry Lambert of Anglia Heating commented on the ease and speed of installation and added: "Avantas are a good boiler - fit them and forget them."

The Remeha Avanta Combi Range, with its low-pressure operation (0.5 bar min. to achieve max. flow rate) is ideal for multi-properties where space is limited and efficient and quiet operation are essential.  Each boiler has a comfort mode to ensure instantaneous hot water of a constant temperature and an Eco mode, which saves energy and reduces harm to the environment.
