Remeh Avanta boiler aids work

A high efficiency Remeha Avanta 39c combi boiler was recently installed by Franklin Heating at the new premises for Workaid in Chesham, Bucks. The Avanta range of SEDBUK ‘A' rated boilers are renowned for their outstanding energy efficiency, light, compact design and ease of installation, making the combi boiler an ideal heating solution for the former factory.

The new Workaid premises, which house the charity's workshop, were officially opened on the 6th June after three months of restoration work and month's closure. Gary Grant, owner of The Entertainer toy shop chain and a Workaid patron, officially opened the premises. The building was a Victorian boot factory, brought back into use by Workaid who are "delighted" to have ‘recycled' the building in the same way that they recycle tools and equipment as part of their charitable projects.

Workaid is a charity organisation set up in 1986 to help tackle poverty in developing countries in a practical way - they collect donated tools and equipments from all over the UK, which are then refurbished by volunteers at their new Chesham workshop before being packed and shipped to approved training projects (mostly in East Africa).
